We will assist in finding suitable study and internship opportunities and design a program based on individual or particular groups’ need. We will make all the necessary arrangements for you, if you so desire. Our goal is, as much as possible, to make your study abroad a pleasant experience, avoid unnecessary expenses, delays and headaches.
To be clear, we do not offer any prearranged programs or plans. As much possible, we will try to design the programs on the basis of the participant’s or their affiliated institutions’ request. This is perhaps the major difference between what we offer and many other study abroad programs widely available.
We are fully aware of the heavy financial strains many students and their families presently experience and the budgetary constraints a number of educational institutions have. Therefore, we will explore ways to reduce the cost of the program and at the same time, enable the participants to get the best out of their overseas learning and living, in a safe and congenial educational environment.
A small note of caution is required here. The potential participant/s must be aware that the international living and learning can be a lot of fun, but it is also a serious endeavor which always will require adjustments, high degree of personal responsibility, especially when dealing with people not known to you before and be flexible to deal with living in unfamiliar cultural and social environment. We will offer necessary orientation and advice and you will have local mentors and support as required and needed. Even then, your security and safety are your primary responsibility.
Those interested should contact us through an e-mail and tell us briefly what you want to study, where, when and for how long? A bit of personal information also will help to give you our suggestions. This request can come from the student, family, faculty or the college administrators. Once we know of your interest, we will provide basic information along with our suggestions. If you show continuing interest to follow through, then we will you more specific plan with costs and other details needed to proceed.
It is important that the interested student/s should consult the faculty or the appropriate college administrator and seek their guidance and inputs. Usually, many colleges allow the students to go abroad and do independent studies. Generally, they can get college credits provided the study one engages abroad merits the credits. In other words, we might be able to package the project or program to meet the institutions’ academic standards and requirements. We will make special effort to accommodate such requests.
If one is not concerned about the college credits and still wants to do independent study and gain international experience, we can plan and work with you. Even then, the faculty advice and guidance may be very useful.
